Good news for all you Mustang owners out there, it looks like AIT Racing will soon be releasing the Doug Van Den Brink “signature” New-Edge Widebody kit for 99-04 Mustangs. Some of you may know that drawings were done by myself and a friend of mine Chad who is a 3D wizard, they were then turned into reality by the guys at AIT.
2009 has been one heck of a year and I would be remiss if I didn’t take a moment to say thank you to everyone that I have worked/played/partied/slaved/hung-out with. For a year that has been so financially challenging for many of us (and still is I might add) there still was a whole lot going on and I can’t tell you how lucky I feel having friends like Ya’ll behind me.
I’ve got’n to do things this year that I would have never dreamed of. From sliding the Mustang around with some of the most talented drivers I have ever seen…
Just as the leaves are starting to change colors and a cool breeze begins to blow in the East, Doug Van Den Brink and the DVM crew were high-tailing it out West to have a little more fun before Old Man Winter got a hold of them. After a couple of weeks prepping his trusty Ford Mustang for battle, Doug was once again on the road for yet another solo trip across the United States in search of fame and fortune.
There are times in life when you just have to stop and think, “Boy, it doesn’t get any better than this”. That’s the best way to describe the month of July for our man from North Carolina. While there were no trains involved, there certainly were plenty of planes, racecars, trucks and even buses as our boys made two separate trips up to the great state of Wisconsin. Once for the Kohler International Vintage Race at Road America and once for the annual EEA AirVenture show in Oshkosh, WI.
